the name of the drum in Yoeme is
BAA WEHAI AKA BAA PO WEHAI in Yoeme
JICARA DE AQUA in Spanish AKA BUEJA
Made my Martin Espino, traditionally these drums are not painted
these drums are not to be confused with the
AFRICAN WATER DRUMS

filedunun which means gourd drum
or
dji dunun which specifically means water drum
while they are both gourd drums floating in water from different parts of the world
the performance practices for playing them are quite different as are when they are used

Music of North and South India is called Indian Music
and/or Hindustani or Carnatic
it is not known as pre-British music,
and the musicians who play them are not called
pre- British musicians
the instruments are known for where they are from culturally,
not from where they are not culturally
or
